Although Dawn has enjoyed creating oil landscapes and pencil and charcoal portraits through the years, pottery has always been her passion. Since receiving the gift of a pottery wheel and kiln from her husband in 2004, Dawn's creative imagination has soared.

“I've always felt a piece of pottery is much more than hardened clay. As the soft clay is compressed into a ball and centered on the wheel, thoughts of romance and mystery are lured into the curves, cuts, and glazes. Each piece is unique, reflecting the artist's creativity. As you touch and feel each piece, you capture it's mystique."
